Frequently asked questions

About the app

What is TodayIsTheDay?

TodayIsTheDay is a personalized daily focus app that helps you overcome procrastination, build better habits, and feel more in control of your day. It combines expert-created, 3-minute lessons with practical exercises and guided reflection to help you understand what holds you back and turn that understanding into everyday action.

How does TodayIsTheDay work?

Start with a 3-minute lesson, then get a recommended next step, such as a practical exercise, guided reflection, or a conversation with Daisy AI.

AI-powered recommendations draw on what you share and your activity in the app to suggest a relevant next action as you progress. You can read how your information is handled in our Privacy Policy. The lessons and exercises themselves are created by experts, giving your personalized experience a structured foundation.

Who is TodayIsTheDay for?

TodayIsTheDay is for people who know what they want to do but struggle to get started or stay consistent. Whether you keep putting things off, get distracted easily, or feel overwhelmed by everyday tasks, it helps you understand your patterns and build a more manageable way forward.

Is TodayIsTheDay worth trying?

If you struggle to turn good intentions into action, TodayIsTheDay offers structure and practical guidance you can use in daily life. 3-minute lessons make it easy to get started, while personalized recommendations help you put what you learn into practice. You can also explore our reviews page to see how others describe their experience.

TodayIsTheDay vs other apps: how does it compare?

Many apps focus on one thing, such as timers, app blockers, habit tracking or journaling. TodayIsTheDay connects understanding your behavior with taking action. It brings expert-created, 3-minute lessons, practical exercises, reflection, and habit building into one guided experience. Personalized recommendations help you choose a useful next step, so you can spend less time deciding what to do and more time making progress.

Is TodayIsTheDay a replacement for therapy?

No. TodayIsTheDay is a self-guided app for daily focus, habit building, and personal growth. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or crisis support, and Daisy AI is not a therapist. If you need mental health care, speak with a qualified professional.

Using the app

How does TodayIsTheDay help with procrastination?

TodayIsTheDay helps you recognize the thoughts, emotions, and habits behind putting things off. 3-minute lessons explain these patterns, while practical exercises help you break tasks into manageable steps and get started. Reflection helps you notice what gets in your way and which approaches work for you. Results differ from person to person.

Do I need to complete tasks every day?

No. You can move at your own pace. A short daily session can help you build consistency, and your streak can be a nice way to see how far you have come, but you do not need to complete every activity or never miss a day. Start with a lesson or recommended action, and return when you are ready.

How long does it take to see results?

There is no fixed timeline. Early progress might mean starting a task you have been avoiding, recognizing a recurring pattern, or following through more consistently. Lasting change takes practice, and your experience will depend on your starting point and how you apply what you learn.

Is TodayIsTheDay based on real psychology?

Yes! Our lessons are built on principles from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), a widely used approach to changing behavior. Our expert-created lessons and exercises help you explore the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behavior, turning these principles into practical activities for everyday challenges such as procrastination and building habits.
